Get a share in the gains

Galaxy Vets is a company of owners. We leverage an employee stock ownership plan (ESOP) and pay above-market-rate salaries because we want our employees to have financial freedom and feel confident about their future.

A 20-hours-per-week commitment in any of the Galaxy Vets settings is enough to receive equity in the entire organization. Whether you are a veterinarian, technician, administrative or management team member, or even a relief worker, we want to reward you for contributing to our success.

work-life balance

Build work around life and not the other way around

As an employee-owned company, we cultivate the founder’s mindset, accountability and trust. We offer generous paid time off to every employee and encourage our team members to take vacations, mental health days, and any other leave that they need to support individual wellness and maintain work-life balance.

We recognize that work-life balance is different for each individual and want to provide options for all. Telemedicine work from home, work in the hospital, or rotations in between – we’ll provide flexibility and task variety to grow, master your skills and do more of what you are passionate about.

professional

Provide right care for the right pet at the right time

We are designing Galaxy Vets to provide access to care to pets when and where they need it, and take a structured approach to health management through pet-specific care, membership-driven telehealth services, and facilitated compliance. Our goal is to eliminate economic euthanasia and we launched a non-profit arm to help animals in need.

We reject commission-based compensation so you can focus on practicing incremental care; providing medical care appropriate for each pet, family and situation and never feel pressured by the need to generate revenue.

A data-driven approach to successful employee experience

We believe that the best culture is driven by employees and our evolution as an organization is contingent on their voice. Through a continuous listening strategy, we capture feedback and create a safe space for all team members to share their ideas, concerns, or perspectives. We use this data to support employee well-being in ways that are effective for each individual.

We regularly audit ourselves to make sure we deliver on our commitment to build a place where people like to work, enjoy what they do, and can live their passion.
